  • Administrative access to the core services used by the CentriOps team is protected with multi-factor authentication.

Account access and control

CentriOps provides multiple ways to sign in along with controls designed to limit access based on a user's role and company membership.

MFA

Multi-Factor Authentication

CentriOps users can enable multi-factor authentication from their user settings to add another layer of protection to their account.

ID

Sign-In Options

CentriOps supports email and password authentication, along with Google and Microsoft sign-in. Firebase is used to support Google and Microsoft authentication.

R

Role-Based Permissions

CentriOps provides two platform roles: Admin and User. These roles allow organizations to provide different levels of access based on responsibility.

CO

Company-Based Access

CentriOps organizes customer information around company profiles. Users access only the company profiles associated with their account and can switch between authorized profiles when they belong to more than one company.

The services behind CentriOps

CentriOps relies on established cloud, development, authentication, and payment providers. We believe customers should know which major platforms help operate the service.

AWS Production database infrastructure, encrypted database storage, cloud backups, and protected application secrets.
Vercel Used as part of CentriOps application hosting and deployment.
Firebase Supports Google and Microsoft authentication within CentriOps.
GitHub Used for source code management, development workflows, and protected development secrets.
Stripe Used for CentriOps subscription billing and payment processing.

Protecting the systems behind the product

Security does not stop at the CentriOps login screen. The accounts and credentials used to operate the platform also need protection.

MFA

Administrative MFA

Multi-factor authentication is required for the services used by the CentriOps team to operate the platform, including core cloud, development, productivity, and business systems.

KEY

Protected Secrets

API keys, credentials, and other sensitive application secrets are stored using protected secrets-management features within AWS and our development platforms instead of intentionally storing those secrets directly in application source code.

Database protection and recovery

CentriOps uses AWS database protections to help protect production data both while it is stored and in the event recovery is needed.

ENC

Encryption At Rest

CentriOps production database storage is encrypted at rest through Amazon RDS using AWS Key Management Service.

BAK

Automated Backups

Automated backups are enabled for the CentriOps production database through Amazon RDS.

7D

Backup Retention

The production database is configured with automated Amazon RDS backups, a seven-day backup retention period, and point-in-time recovery within the available backup window.

You choose how to back up your CentriOps data.

In addition to the platform's database backup process, CentriOps gives customers options for creating their own backup copy.

Cloud Backup

Back up to Amazon S3

Customers can choose a cloud backup option that stores their backup in Amazon S3. S3 provides server-side encryption at rest for stored objects.

Local Backup

Download a local copy

Customers can also create a local backup that downloads a backup file for storage in an environment they control. Once downloaded, protection and retention of that file are the customer's responsibility.

A note about backup files: Backup files may contain sensitive company and platform information. Local backup files should be protected using the same care your organization applies to other sensitive business data.

Your operational data deserves clear answers.

CentriOps can contain information about users, devices, tasks, checklists, support requests, contracts, subscriptions, and other business operations.

CO

Company Organization

Records in CentriOps are associated with company profiles so information is organized within the appropriate company environment.

$

Payment Processing

CentriOps uses Stripe for subscription billing and payment processing. A credit card is not required to begin the 30-day free trial.
